The Law Office

Fiel d’Oliveira Advocacia is a law firm dedicated to Corporate Law, with particular emphasis on Tax Law, Customs and Excise Law, and Criminal Tax Law, acting as much in a preventive role as in administrative and judicial litigation. The mission set by the office is to render excellent service, in combination with agility and a personal approach, in order to generate the very best results for the clientele.

Further Education History:

• In 2006, graduated in Law from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro State University)
• 2007 - specialization course in Tax Law at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (renowned business school)
• Masters Degree in Law awarded by Northwestern University, Chicago, EUA (LL.M., 2012)
• Specialization in Business Administration attending the Kellogg School of Management, Chicago, EUA (2012)
• MA scholar in Public Finance, Taxation and Development at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Conclusion scheduled for 2019.

Other Professional Activities:

• Councillor (2015 – 2018) for the 3ª Seção de Julgamento do Conselho Administrativo de Recursos Fiscais – CARF (3rd Judgment Section of the Administrative Council of Fiscal Appeals), Ministério da Fazenda (Ministry of Finance), the competent organ for processing and judging fiscal administrative cases arising from the levying of the following taxes: PIS/COFINS, IPI, CIDE, and other taxes related to Foreign Trade operations, among others.
• Member of Customs Law Comission of Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro State Chapter (OAB/RJ)
